Rutgers vs. Army

The 4-2 Scarlet Knights come off a tough 24-17 loss to Pitt. Rutgers couldn’t contain Pitt’s running game. Pitt freshmen Dion Lewis ran for 180 yards and two scores. The Rutgers running attack was held down but QB Tom Savage had a solid game. Savage went 23 of 39 for 248 yards with a touchdown.

Rutgers looks to bounce back when they travel to West Point to face the Black Knights of Army. Army, 3-4, is much improved from 2008 where they finished the season 3-9. Behind Head Coach Rich Ellerson, Army now runs a triple option offense which is a challenge for any defense.

Prediction: Rutgers will limit the Army rushing attack while Tom Savage makes plays against the Black Knight defense. Rutgers 37 Army 23
