Rutgers vs. Syracuse Preview

The Scarlet Knights dominated a good South Florida team on national TV. Tom Savage threw for 194 yards and 2 scores in the 31-0 victory. RB Joe Martinek ran for 128 yards and a score. The Rutgers defense hurried South Florida QB BJ Daniels forcing 2 interceptions and sacking the young signal caller 7 times.

Syracuse lost a tough 10-9 game against Louisville. In the loss QB Greg Paulus threw for only 89 yards with 1 interception. RB Delone Carter ran for 129 yards in a game that lacked offensive fire power. With the loss, the Orangemen fell to 3-7 (0-5 in the conference).

Prediction: The 7-2 Scarlet Knights should have an easy time with Syracuse in the Carrier Dome. Tom Savage and Tim Brown will have huge games. Rutgers 37 Syracuse 13
