Rutgers vs. Texas Southern Preview

The 3-1 Scarlet Knights host sub division Texas Southern before opening conference play on October 16th against Pittsburgh. Head Coach Greg Schiano will use Texas Southern to work out some kinks and get ready for Pitt. Freshmen QB Tom Savage has been out due to a concussion suffered on September 19th. He may get some work against Texas Southern.

Prediction: Rutgers will cruise to an easy victory over Texas Southern in what amounts to a scrimmage. Questions still abound after the opening loss to Cincinnati as conference play looms. The Scarlet Knights have won three in a row against much lesser foes but the true test will be against Pitt on October 16th.
