Rutgers vs. South Florida Preview

The 6-2 Scarlet Knights host the 6-2 South Florida Bulls in a nationally televised game which will have an impact on each team’s bowl positioning.

Rutgers is coming off of an exciting victory over UCONN. Scarlet Receiver Tim Brown hauled in an 81 yard touchdown with 22 seconds left to pull off a 28-24 victory.

The Bulls had an impressive victory over West Virginia in their last game. South Florida’s Redshirt Freshmen QB BJ Daniels was very good in the victory throwing for 232 yards and running for 104 more in the 30-19 victory.

Prediction: In what should be a very close game the difference will be Daniels ability to make plays out of nothing and their impressive defense. Rutgers home field advantage will keep them in the game but it won’t be enough. South Florida 30 Rutgers 23
