Rutgers vs. West Virginia Preview

The Scarlet Knights look to finish the season with an impressive 9-3 record. The Mountaineers come off an impressive victory over rival Pittsburgh.

Rutgers bounced back from the stunning loss at Syracuse with a dominating victory at Louisville. The Scarlet Knights will look to avoid their 16th straight loss to West Virginia.

The Mountaineers also look to go 9-3. For WV a 9-3 record and a victory over Pitt would be a very good season. In their 19-16 victory Noel Devine ran for 134 yards which included an 88 yard scant.

Prediction: Rutgers QB Tom Savage and WR Tim Brown will need big days against a strong Mountaineer defense. On the defensive side of the ball they will have to keep QB Jarrett Brown in the pocket and eliminate big plays by Devine. In what will be a very tight game, Brown makes enough plays with his feet to escape Rutgers with a close victory.
